@jenanjuice No I was just saying that the whole point of the song is that society is shallow so why would he say that society is deep? ie. "untill you have it all you won't be free" I think he says "society, crazy indeed" it makes more sense.

i looked it up and i found that it says "crazy and deep" but i do understand what you're getting at. it doesn't make sense to me either. good catch, "indeed" might have been a better choice of words.

Actually I'd say society is very deep because within society youre so deeply inbeded in your roots (routines) and the tunnel vision caused by society detaches you from your primal origins. As a common man you work your way to the top (rat race). Somewhere beneath our mask society forces us to wear exists the truth. He speaks of the soul crying out, gasping for air yet i'ts bound by society.
