I don't know how come I never saw this before... I was curious about this song on your Shelter Me Cd, I knew it was going to be hard to take... Maria, I admire so much the control of your voice in this powerhouse song! It screams in pain, in loneliness, in injustice.. but never with anger, never with revenge. Just as a dear, faithful, sweet, scared old dying dog would do... I find that sad and heartwrenching beyond words. My God, how can they love the human race so much?! We are so unworthy!

NEVER EVER give up the fight to help these animal companions by changing laws, by making ppl realize what they do is wrong, by going vegetarian, by joining organizations, by making lots of noise -let your opinion be heard.

Human is just a discription of oure species, it does not describe oure empathy nor sympathy! Be humain is just opening your heart for the suffering of other living beeings and willing to make a difference in they're live's on this one planet whe live on!
