First he calls her the Bride of Frankenstein, and then he takes her to Frankensteins Monster.

They did back in the 1820's when Mary Shelley was still alive and fairly young. Once Thomas Potter Cooke essayed the monster, which he would play into his 70's on stage, he'd be walking down the streets and people would say, "There goes Frankenstein."

Here in America they are a couple of brothers who paint.

Is this the short version, it seems I remember the professor really going orgasmic in his "She's alive" exclamation.
i remember it being a lot longer and him (Dr. Frankenstein) going into uncontrollable laughter.
