Haven't really touch the video function much on mine. Just been doing a lot of portrait and landscape work (loved the use of the 15mm!) Wouldn't mind the 400mm f/2.8L though ::drool::

The 5d Mk ii has "live-view" - the mirror goes up and you see the image/video on the LCD. You use that for video, and you can use it or stills if you want. The LCD is great, BTW. People go ooh and aah when they see its quality. The ISO performance on this camera is wonderful. I mean ISO 800 looks clear and smooth, and it goes up to 6400 ISO (and even can be pushed to 24K ISO but is very noisy). Using full-frame lenses again is also great - I had used a Rebel before this.

Yep, you got it, all through a simple camera or should i say awesome cam, but with video function. don't know if it's bad/good, but you can record about up to 8-12 minutes of video footage with an 8-16gb card.

The 5d Mark 2 is a prodigy, plain and simple. I have 45,000 shots on mine, no problems. Beautiful quality plus all the benefits of EF lenses. Couldn't be happier!
