I've struggled with PCOS symptoms since the age of 12 and I was not correctly diagnosed until the age of 23. Unfortunately my PCOS caused me to develop complex atypical endometrial hyperplasia, which is a pre-cancerous condition. I had a total hysterectomy about 4 weeks ago at the age of 24, no kids and not married. I don't regret the decision to have it done (hello, cancer!) but I urge ANYONE who thinks she may have any of these symptoms to ask your obgyn about them!!!

I conceived naturally 4 times. it wasn't until after I had my kids that i was diagnosed with pcos. i quit having periods for over a year. Provera kick started me again though. I have diabedies now and high blood pressure which i take meds for and skin tags and darkning of the skin at the nape of my neck.

I was diagnosed with PCOS last year and I'm 17. I don't have children but my mums friend also has PCOS and she's got 3 children conceived naturally! So It gives me hope :)
I'm quite lucky symptom wise because the only one I have is the loss of periods. My best mate has it too and she's got no periods and the hair problem.

well symptom wise..i am abit like you AND your friend, as my periods are regular, but i have the annoying excess hair :(...but i have heard of quite a few women who have conceived naturally, so yes, it does give us hope. my only worry is if it gets worse as you get older....
