You are correct there. Anyone who would care to listen to the first album, London Calling and Sandanista would have to conclude that the Clash were really beyond description other than just plain brilliant.

I respect Michael Jackson in some of his artistic acheivements, but never bought one of his records. On that same note I can't think of one of his songs, except maybe a Jackson 5 song, that I would prefer listening to over ANY Clash song
