Chengiz-khan's tribes were Turkic. They are now inside inside Kazakh nation.
Otrar were defended by another Turkic tribe - Kipchaks. They are also inside Kazakhs and other Turks now

lots of our people who live in Northern China provinces, Henan, Hebei, Shandong, etc have mixed nomad blood -- whether it is Xiongnu (the Huns), Khitan, Mongols, Jurchens, Manchus. We are proud of our Nomad ancestry. Unfortunately not all Chinese would agree with me. They were all brain washed by believing that Mongols and Jurchens are Aliens, which is so unfortunate!

No,We,Mongolians are aliens for you Chinese. Our relativies are Yakut-Saha,Buriat,Hakas,Tuva,K azakh,Kirgiz. You ,Chinese lie that Mongolians and Manjshus ,Uigurs are branches of Chinese Han national . No WE ,Mongolians are a branch of Altai speaking language family which include Mongolan speaking , Turkic speaking and Tungus-Manjshu speaking people. Tibet , Vietnam,Korea,Japan are your Chinese relativies

Mon1kaz1, i respect the difference in your opinion. to make the first correction, Korean and Japanese lauguages are actually Altaic languages. Chinese and Tibetan are of the same language family. lots of Korean and Northern Japanese people are actually relatives to the Turko-Mongolian people. My advice to you "pure" Mongolian people is to try to find friends in your cousins in China becasue there are so many of them - whether they are aware of their ancestry or not.

and remember that one of the greatest achievements of our great Khan is that He made China part of Mongolia and at the same time made Mongolia part of China. Prior to that, Mongolia and China were never one country. One also has to remember that thanks to the Mongols, China's territory is as big as it is now today. Mongols also made Yunan, Tibet, Xinjiang (or East Turkistan) part of China. and Also thanks to the Mongols, the Indo-China became half Chinese and half Indian in their culture.

for the reason that China needs Mongolia for the legends and spirits of the Great Khan to inspire and galvanize her people and Mongolia needs China to CONTINUE the Great Khan's legacy after these 803 years. I don't see a chance of that happening with Mongolia standalone or China alone with the way it is operating nowadays. It is too Hanish and weak in its national character.

lots of Chinese, especially those in the North are literally Mongols. their ancestors came down from the Mongol steppes and became Chinese over the 2000+ years of conflicts between China and the nomads.
