I think Bond is a better literary character and film character particularly because he can and has adapted for every generation. While i love the Bourne movies and especially the game, Bourne is a generic action movie character template, and the only reason he is even a significant one is because hes a well acted character in that rare form of action movie that we call " a well written" action movie.

So yea, the new Bond borrowed some Bourn. Its called adaptation. It still retains personality.

Daniel Craig is the best by far i think, he managed to portray the un taimed Bond, before he became what he became by the older Bonds, since they all represent the fully developped Bond. By All means most of them did a very good job specialy Brosnen, but he would not have done the Un taimed fully developped bond Bond i would have thought.

timothy dalton was one of the best actually im not saying hes my fav but he was great i thnk Sean Connery was the best hes my fav. and George Lazenby was the worst he failed to act the role of James Bond...he got fired he only made 1 one and that was...one her majestys secret service

Craig certaintly adds more dimensions to his character than the other bonds do. He managed to show more emotion in his performance in that he showed a darker and more realistic side to Bond's job. I liked him because he stood out from all the others with his calculating and connving manner but of course, I still like the performances of the other Bonds. Bond, in general, rocks!!
