JFK was just unbelievable. Being 17 then, the youth had promise. We believed in him, for all presidents were old men.For just one brief shining moment, there was "Camelot. Oh my. it was to brief. We all loved you Mr. Kennedy.

This great man, already wealthy beyond belief, never took a dime from the government, but rather donated all the money he earned as president to charity. Then he went on to pay his taxes without deducting charities from his own wealth. Honorable, Intelligent, and Brave. To add to what I previously stated, he was a war hero, and he united Americans as a whole, family in a way, in a way no one has since the founding fathers, and Lincoln.

Yes but he had his flaws like anyone else. He was boning Marilyn Monroe (as well as other men's wives) behind his wife's back.

This (or soon after) is where LBJ decided that JFK would have to go. Check out the interview with Madeleine Brown (his former lover/mistress).

LBJ knew he could be dumped as vice president and face potentially a long jail sentence if JFK lived and won a second term. In office LBJ had the power (with Hoover) to avoid jail.
