I can't believe among these comments, director Hal Ashby is only mentioned twice. Here's thrice.

Im privileged to have worked on the same faculty with the late Otis Young, who did another Hal Ashby movie, The Last Detail.

Please, please -- when you praise a movie, don't forget to compliment the director.
