Ok, can someone help?
I live in the UK (just incase that helps others identify differences in typical curbs from different countries)

the curbs here are pretty rounded, i get alot of speed, try and soul grind (i'm a noob, it's all i can do atm :P) but i just slow down too much that it's barely a grind, i practically stall.. what can i do? am i better off looking for a rail?

you can wax the curb it should slide like butter if properly waxed... but dont think yu should go look for a rail.. try to find as may spots with a big variety as you can... learn to skate everything from the beginning juss slowly and you will be amazing in a while... practise rails, ledges, vert (bowl/halfpipe) and w.e yu feel like doing
