This version of 12th Street Rag was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Tuesday, October 7th. 2008 by The Three Busk-It-eres.
A suggestion by vibraphone player John Sparry led to a unique session when John joined forces with Nick Blunn on piano and Nick Millward on drums. Johns amusing anecdotes and knowledge of his music added to the enjoyment of the evening. Once again a brilliant gig at the Harp where sessions are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening. Yah! I have a 78 RPM record of this song and it cool to see the spirit of the one song that fastly approaching 100 years old live on in such a group. - Zefren
