Republicans should move to mongolia and start a new country named "we hate everyone, everthing, and we hate to use brains". Better yet move off the planet and head for the emptyness of space...you should like it there since the space in your skulls are just as empty.
So sad and so beautiful. In my opinion, the most perfect poethic syntheses of the American feeling in the 60's and early 70's. This song is an impressive translation of the feeling millions of American youths had that something had gone awfully wrong with the country they had learned to love and worship.
The song is even more relavant today given the way big government has intruded into the lives of all of us who are just trying to live in peace and want to be left alone. When you vote for change, be careful what you wish for.
It's kind of funny / interesting / a lot of things that poetry and good song writing have a lot in common. I write poetry and enjoy all kinds of music and good lyricism looks and sounds just like poetry.
