It's not Mr. Creosote that makes me come back to see this sketch again and again, but it's the brilliant acting and timing of John Cleese. World class!
I don't know if this true, but I read in this scene where he finally blows up, look closely and you can see extra's actually throwing up in the background. Apparently the glosh they used for explosion was so foul smelling that many of the extra's didn't expect how gross the stunt was going to be. Bleh, yuck
Exactly the opposite! In the "behind the scene" on the dvd, they say the extras all wanted to have the fake puke thrown at them because it looked like alot of fun!
