    Well, though I love the XF, my parents' current car is a BMW E39 520i Touring and it's a superbly capable day-to-day family car, even with only 170bhp. Also, unlike the XF, it's got fairly low window sills, so visibility is great (in the XF it's awful).

    More or less. The only thing they done was fit de-cat pipes, gave the ecu a re-map and removed the limiter.
