Pretty Flamingo - Elvis Costello and Friends

Great line-up for this - Elvis Costello at the Montreux Jazz Festival(??) with Glenn Tilbrook, Chris Difford, Nick Lowe and Gilson Lavis singing Manfred Mann's Pretty Flamingo sometimes 1980s I think!

A dream team of talent. Often this type of collaboration doesn't work. This one certainly does. Pretty Flamingo will be running through my head all weekend now...

Who can't play in this generation? Do you mean like how the Sex Pistols, Ramones, and Black Flag could play? Or do you mean being like the prog guys from music schools in Cambridge?

Great redo of a wonderful Manfred Mann tune. Elvis and friends are clearly having a great time with this chestnut, and they really make it their own. Thanks for the post.
