They did a new Cromwell movie in 2004 called "To Kill A King" with Tim Roth as Cromwell. Richard Harris is the Best though.

I'm sorry but I find this incredibly disrespectful to a great movie and to a great actor (richard harris) >:(

There are few things in this world that are so sacred that they are beyond parody, criticism or re-interpretation. In fact I'd say just about anything goes save for certain religious prophets whose followers have a penchant beheadings.

So I'm sorry to say - despite the fact that Richard Harris and this movie are both excellent - it's hardly disrespectful - and even if it was arguable that it was disrespectful - the movie and the actor are hardly sacrosanct.

But hey, to each their own. : )
