It's about a lowly dirt farmer who has to decide between letting his family starve slowly or ending it all quickly with the "shotgun hangin' on the wall." He chooses the latter, obviously.

So dark... My friend who is a bad ass old school hippie, he doesn't sing or play guitar really, but he just wants to learn this one Bob Dylan song. This one. I said I'd learn it for him, so he could learn it too. Let's pray that my friend doesn't have to go to prison for having an herb that hurts no one.
