Reason Stoke doesnt score more goals off his throw is quality...if Delap was throwing balls like that for a quality team or a squad with multiple aerial threats it would be very useful.

rephrase: hasnt happened to premiership teams from last season again.
Burnley must have been studying it and stuff but doesnt really cut it until you face the real deal and a experiance the aerial bombardment

and regardless if it scores goals it causes havoc in the penalty area and clearly worries defenders causing mistakes. Its not a gimmick any more than Beckham taking a corner brilliantly is a gimmick.
