a "normal" person would think Brian is MI5 if they had become aware of how much the leaders of this country love having "controlled opposition".

So on the one hand you think that schoolboy jokes about him 'facing death' (which he has) are clever and yet on the other you want me to enter into a grown up discussion about the possibility of Brian Haw being part of a Cointelpro campaign set up by M15.

WHile you seem to know his biography better than I do - I feel pretty certain he's not dead.

It's fine that you now feel you don't want a discussion with me but perhaps next time you feel that way you'll remember not to respond to my comment.
Congrat's on noticing Mr Haw isn't dead, you're clearly medicaly trained.

If, as a soldier for example, you found yourself in a life or death situation and you had to kill another human being in order to avoid being killed yourself then one might say one has "faced death". It's almost impossible to mis-understand that, but I'm sure you'll try.
