I am not too shocked. When my son was in grade 8 I asked for a regular old teacher conference. The first thing the THREE people from the school did was write down the phrase "Mom is sitting quietly with hands in her lap." I asked to see that, told them I did not approve, They stopped writing. continued meeting. Son non-violent, no drink or drugs or fighting. Just not excelling. Police state started years ago.
