I'm happy to help those who cannot help themselves. I'm not talking about meth addicts getting a fix, I'm talking about seniors who can't even pay to stay alive. This is not evil or socialist, it's whats right and what needs to be done.

I really don't understand how some Americans are so against a government run health care. Yes, it will have its problems, as it does in Canada, where I live. Although, everyone is covered in Canada. When I get hurt or sick, there is no question whether or not I should go get help. Likewise, when I had problems psychologically, I was reffered to a psychiatrist for no cost. My bill every month is 32 dollars Canadian, which I am happy to pay, whether or not I get sick.

I don't understand why people keep talking about America like it has a "free market" because it doesn't, it has a mixed market, if it were a free market than there would be "no" government regulation whatsoever (ie: no minimum wage, no price caps, no labor laws of any sort, unions would disappear, no work condition standards and so on) I'd say a truly "free market" would only be good for the ones making all the money

That's the only REAL argument supporting Health Care Reform. I think if you need surgery for cancer and you can't afford it the government should pick up the tab

"the sick UNINSURED people that end up competing for a space..." only happens if their covered by Medicare or Medicaid. On the other hand uninsured people get billed for the ER expenses which is the most expensive (besides surgery) and the government doesn't pick up the tab. Though you'll probably be taxed on your next paycheck. And about Beck there's always gonna be two sides to every argument if not there wouldn't be an argument.

The FFA only oversees safety in the U.S and Beck says that the government can't be trusted to handle things that the Free Market System can handle... like the incident at Jamestown. Ever heard of Hurricane Katrina? Well FEMA has used about 6 and a half billion dollars trying to "rebuild" New Orleans. Guess where thats gone? Nowhere. On the other hand, immediately after the hurricane private companies donated 1 billion which has helped more than the 6 and a half from FEMA. Thats what he means.

Glenn talks about airlines being able to dictate their routes and prices once the Government got out of it...? Does he not realize that the Government subsidizes the airlines 30Billion a year? They are not out of it. They are most certainly in it... Glenn Beck is a retard....

True but the government doesn't control what flights go to where and at what price like in the mid 20th century. They can't stop you from going to Afghanistan even if we have a war there. That is what he means that the government doesn't control airlines
