This is a great song so many great memories with this tune

a ole classic song from the past. iremember this from the 1970's when i first heard it. I always try to listen to this song once a year. i played it to some younger friends in there 20's they didn't know to handle it. like what is that.i think my dead cat could of understood it better. this is a great song, but arlo sounded better 40 years ago. He still rocks it.

Have this on 12" record ..and while we dont have "thanksgiving Day "here in australia I still play it often

WEBN in Cincinnati has played this every Thanksgiving at noon probably for the last forty years.

I was originally indoctrinated to this piece of americana in 2002 when I listened to the slightly extended version (@ 22 minutes)...forgot how fun and entertaining it is til I search Arlo on here today
