I think around the time this came out The Matrix was dominating everything.

I think if they released it at another time, or did a sequel somehow it would have had a better outcome :)

This film could have been a timeless Orwellian cult classic but for the last 10 minutes. The ending ruins it. That's Hollywood for you. The Goodies have to win in a spectacular final batlle scene. shame.
