In order to get the public on our side, we need to use the scientific as well as the moral argument against animal experiments.
The moral and the scientific argument complement each other very powerfully.
The moral argument is best conveyed by images of animals used in experiments.
Animal experiments represent one of the most grotesque of blunders in medical history – let us get rid of them and replace them with good science. Good science should be species specific, should do no harm and be evidence based.
With the ending of animal experimentation, a great evil will be lifted from the earth, which will have untold and far-reaching benefits for health and the life on this planet.

Safer Medicines' stance is that a rational combination of human biology based technologies can provide more relevant and reliable information for humans than animal tests. Their ethical beliefs as I understand it, revolve around protection of humans.

I glanced at the first link you sent. If i have time I'll look at the others.

If you read the "about us" section of safermedicines you'll see that they: "do not oppose animal testing per se". I have emailed them for additional clarification on their stance on animal experimentation and their ethical beliefs.

Also look at antidote (dash)europe (dot)org for a really informative anti-vivisection website. The interviews with scientists were very interesting for me because I was unaware that science can currently be taught without vivisection. To think that when my daughter expressed an interest in science at uni... and I replied that she would have to deal with abominable vivisection! I was so wrong!....The interview with an Australian vet who campaigned for humane education and succeeded was inspiring.

Dear ALL, it’s up to us now! It is only public opinion that can bring medical research into the 21st century because we the ordinary people care about our loved ones far more than we care about money. The ethical scientists are already there but need our support, please see how we can help at the website safermedicines org by writing to the MHRA and asking when the pharmaceutical companies will be required to use superior, human biology tests so that new medicines are as safe as possible. Thanks

There is a growing number of ethical scientists who want to protect human life by bringing medical research into the 21st century. They are currently campaigning to replace outdated and unreliable animal testing with new lab tests based on human biology which can offer greater protection to human volunteers during clinical trials. Millions of animals and humans are killed and maimed by a greedy industry which main goal is PROFITS. Adverse reactions kill 197000 Europeans annually, many more thousands are maimed by them.

Viewers who wish to have an insight into the huge conspiracy which currently exists in the development and production of medicines please see the report: “Making a Killing: How drug company greed harms people and animals” by logging into:

    1. Log on to SaferMedicines org and call on the government to mandate the use of new technologies to ensure new medicines are as safe as possible.

    2. Log on to drhadwentrust org which has funded innovative medical research projects that have helped both animals and humans.

    3. Log on to antidote (dash) europe org and find out about their campaigns and interviews with antivivisection scientists, some who teach science without vivisection or have campaigned for humane research and succeeded.

"growing number of...scientists" I interact with MDs and PhDs on a daily basis and I've never met one who believed animal research was useless. I've asked you numerous times to name names but you can't. You're fabricating the whole thing.

I'm training to be a doctor, not a pharma rep. If someone built a magic machine that could FULLY replace animal research I would welcome it. Housing animals is expensive and unpleasant.

It is hard for you isn’t it MarshalNey?. Hard to even begin to admit that your studies and experience are already obsolete! That is why you arrogantly dismiss such a growing number of reputable, qualified and experienced scientists who are against vivisection, because to give any validity to their opinions would go against your own interests and would mean that your career has so far been an utter waste of time. The world is constantly changing and those who wish to stay in the past remain there.
