Im thinking of purchasing this kit to create my business cards. How long would the embossing stamp last for? Also what types of paper can it be used for? Is it suitable for thicker business card paper?

The embossing die will last a long time - we have tested our stamps to 1 million impressions ! They are normally used with a machine such as Big Shot to press the die into the paper or card. Please contact the office on 01733 349937 to discuss in more detail. Thanks.

is the clamp a magnifying glass or a normal thick glass?

It is acrylic but you could use normal glass. The clamps are magnetic and designed to perfectly compress the sachets of gel.

what are the ingredients in the sachet? is it possible to make it by buying chemicals from a chemical store?

The product is photopolymer resin that has a specific photoinitiator to make it react to an ordinary lamp (most just work with UV light). No you cannot make it. We are the only company in the world that makes this daylight curing photopolymer!

can you design your own negative or you only have to make what they have included?

You design your own negatives - you only get sample negatives included in the stamp kits. You do need the clamp from one of the stamp kits before you can use the embossing sachets.
