Was that Bobby Kevin on Drums? I know that he went on to play with the Ken MacIntosh big band, remember seeing him at the Beach Ballroom in Aberdeen, way back Very good drummer.

I like that tall bloke who is dancing by standing in one place and spinning his girlfriend round. Looks like he can't wait to get a pint!

It was Monty Sunshine. I have the same 78. He played that solo with minor variations (depending on the quantity of ale consumed) regularly around the clubs and pubs in the late 50s early 60s.

I am 16 and jazz is the musical love of my life, especially trad, and I get depresssed listening to modern music, it distictly lacks in variation and anything resembling a tune, however I am pleased to announce many of my friends feel the same way :)
