FFXI "Remember"

I can't wait for FFXIV! I just hope all of my friends swich over ; ; Awesome video, btw^^ Ty for posting.

Also FFXI and FFXIV are alot allike they have the same races (different names though) and it may come out with alot of the jobs allready on the game so we don't have to buy a bunch of expansions. Also the graphics have improved considerably and although it's a new world and all it's still basically FFXI just... improved.... and yea so with the new FFXIV there will be a serious drop in the amount of people still playing FFXI... Though you probably allready know that but meh... xP

I just want to say that I don't believe everyone will switch to FF 14 and I don't think it'll be dead (even though my friend keeps saying it's gonna be) though alot of people will probably switch and a few servers will most likely die out cause nobody will be playing em especially the ones with small amounts of people, I doubt that many people will pay for both so yea FFXI will probably loose a considerable amount of people to the new FF online... Just saying...

ff11 wont die... it mmight die down but wont die, its a great game, and i had some amazing friends on ff11

What should I resume training when I get back everyone? My Bard, My scholar or should I use my carbuncles ruby and start training up SMN?

brd for ivnites, sch for practicalness... they make a very good blm or a whm whenever you need one (small manning things they are great)

smn is kinda lacking in the damage department, good for soloing things / some bcnms.

not really considering its a completly different game lol ots of peple might not like lt though only time will tell

FFXIV has similarities to FFXI. FFXI is not really as hard as it use to be but it still takes crazy amounts of time. If you start playing now by the time you hit 75 and start getting gear FFXIV will be out lol
now a days you need like 5-6 75s with decent gear to be even considered in a top linkshell unless you want to do sky with noobs and wait years in line for gear. unless you get lucky. then you have to get a top shell for landkings etc...

well what ever linkshel you where in the leadef must of been a complete dick end of there is no such thign as "Decent" Gear only preferred gear for your role with that job etc and if you dont peopel in linkshells and other members of the comunity will help im sure too many people on this game are like " noob gtfo " instead of helping each other =\

and about similrites no matter how similar they are still not the same lol

lol i never said "noob gtfo" let me rephrase that. if you do a sky event or sea or hnm whatever with people who have never done it before or a lot of people who still need gear from the god/hnm/mob then you will be waiting for your gear for a long time.. I use to help newer players all the time but the armor progression rate was a lot slower than if you're in a more experienced shell. and "decent gear" just means better gear than AH bought gear. rare / ex / relic gear / god gear /landking etc
