You carry the veena in your throat ... I understand how this can be a compliment, since the veena is after all divine. But a violin? :P

The violin or any other musical classical instrument is as divine as veena,  after all, the way they produce the nada is different

This is blissful. Thanks to technology and rasikas like Navarasan, my sanity is under control.

I read somewhere that during M. S' childhood a great doyen of carnatic music commented "child, you carry the veena in your throat". I think she also carries a well-tuned violin in her throat. Listen to her voice merge with the violin at 3:19 and again at 3:33. I really am kickin myself for attending just the thukkada sections of concerts. This is mesmerizing from lack of better words.
