I read somewhere that during M. S' childhood a great doyen of carnatic music commented "child, you carry the veena in your throat". I think she also carries a well-tuned violin in her throat. Listen to her voice merge with the violin at 3:19 and again at 3:33. I really am kickin myself for attending just the thukkada sections of concerts. This is mesmerizing from lack of better words.
