"sucks" is a bit much

"not as good" would be better because he's still good... just.. not on par with most japanese players.

though he still won his share of tourneys even though they weren't all in 3s.

kuroda is still my favorite though

I wouldn't go the extremes of saying he SUCKS but there are japanese players that are better than Daigo at third strike
