A decent tubular kero lantern (like a $5 Dietz) would cost less than the electric lantern, would use the existing fuel, and would be safer and put out 2-4x the light.

Those lamps are not free! Those people will slave all of their lives enriching the companies that make those lamps.

What is wrong with going to sleep when darkness falls? Why do business owners want to stay open longer at night for? It sounds like these silly people enjoy slave work.

what are you doing on the Internet if "development" is such a bad thing? Why should YOU have acces to computer and not Africans. Liberate yourself from the New World Order and start living without electricity.
