As an American, who has just watched the original version and loved it, I'm gonna say that this version looks like BULLCRAP. I don't know why British television always has to be remade for American audiences, maybe the studios should give us the benefit of the doubt.

It's so frustrating seeing Colm Meaney in this clip, and then knowing he had the part taken away. Harvey Keitel is a great actor, but he was horribly miscast in this part. Colm would have been 10X better, and it would have let more people know what a terrific performer he is.

Half the episodes are just copies of the bbc one, an the others are just awful. It's on that FX channel which gets about 11 viewers so that can't help it either. Besides, we've seen it all before except without nancy french bender americans doing it. I thought i knew how it would end as well until i saw the shitty ending.

This looks a little to dramatic. I mean obviously it is a drama... but I would miss Philip Glenister's humour D:.
