I've added a Seuthe smoke unit to an old Hornby Duchess of Sutherland. I've also fitted a resistor to slow the motor down in order to produce more smoke at slower speeds.

Good smoke effect, a couple of questions then if I may?Is it Seuthe 22 or 23 and do you you use a resistor with it?Finally what oil do you use as there seems to be plenty of smoke, is it seuthe oil?
hi tom, i just bought a smoke unit to fit into my hornby steam loco, i'm having a problem where i have run the loco at very high speed to get it to smoke. can you advise on how you got yours to work? what resistor did you use and how was it fitted into your loco?
