Yes, it did air in 1990 on cnn in the fall right after Iraq invaded Kuwait. It would air during the show, "Crisis in the Gulf". Funny how this commercial depicting paradise would air during a show about ongoing turmoil in the world!

It's a cover of Sea of Love and not the original by Phil Phillips and George Khoury.

But a cover by whom?

Don't know.
