yes, the neighbors heard her screams and heard her banging on the wall with a shovel. They said that they didn't want to "pry" into their buisness. I guess things were much different back then... And it's such a shame they didnt pry

feel torn about this. In one way, you shouldnt of been there treating it as a tourist hotspot, but on the other you seemed to do it with respect, unlike the nobs who seemed to have been there before. Im glad its been torn down and nobody can tresspass anymore. Almost 45 thousand viewers have watched and commented on you walking round that house, yet not one single person cared to notice all them years ago.

first of all, thank you for a very respectful comment. I hardly ever reply to them but i read them all.
i never intended it to look like a tourist spot. I saw the movie and seemed to become obsessed with sylvia and the whole story. I'm from indianapolis and was there visiting that day and i asked my G/F at the time if she wanted to go see the house. When we got there we saw the missing board and decided to go in and well, u saw the rest. This is 1 of the best comments yet,Thanks
