Joe Satriani - Ten Words (Live 2006) Live at The Grove, Anaheim Off of the "Satriani: Live!" DVD (2006).
Another fantastic excerpt from the DVD! This song in particular is too good to pass up.
Joe originally wrote it on piano as a reflection of 9/11. Coming back to it on the Super Colossal record in 2006, he tried to write ten words for the title - based on the repeated ten note phrase (2:29-2:38) - but found that it was impossible to do, so he left it ambiguous.
The intro section is from his song Turkey Man, and you can also hear it during the Rubina performance on his Live in San Francisco DVD.

I love the accessibility of Satriani's music compared to some of the other greats, Vai, Gilbert, Yngwie, Pretrucci. Sometimes they are way over my head, like Im too dumb to get it. Satch is just smooth right out of the box with his hooks.
I wanted to give it up for his band though, those guys are terrific. I've seen them in several other videos, sometimes in G3.
I was stuck considering if I should favourite this song or not as it's one of my favourites, but when I saw that the vid was uploaded on my birthday I had to haha. great song!
Apocalypse09sam You have absolutely right. This is one of the best song from Satriani. His better of Vai, Petrucci etc. The Best guitar player in this World ;)
