I think Parker gambled his own money, not Elvis'. Elvis was just generous to a fault. He was a great guy who wanted to share what he had with others, even total strangers.

one way that it plagued him was Elvis wanted to tour overseas, but the Colonel wouldn't let him, instead giving him a full schedual of American tours, mostly in Vegas, so Parker could Gamble...(Oh yes) Elvis's carear fed Parkers Gambling addiction...Maybe one reason for giving so much away( If Parker is gonna gamble it, might as well give it to people who need it)

he tried...Parker had him so tied up with contracts, that there was no way out of that, and it plagued him his whole carear...Parker was a schrud business man who made sure Elvis could not get out of his contract( which was a personal life time management contract), backed up by other contracts...(( I know my spelling is bad too, but at least I'm on your side about Parker!!!) lol
