I find it fascinating that here he seems to be completely aware of the greed and corruption that exists in a democratic society, while just a year later he expressed to congress his "shocked disbelief" in the risky and detrimental behaviors taken by banks in their own interest. Is he for real?!?

She doesn't understand that the Fed is NOT part of the gov't and is an unconstitutional EVIL PRIVATE BANK...

She was right to go after gov't for corruption, but she was barking up the wrong tree. She should have pinned Greenspan and addressed banking related crimes...ie, kickbacks, irresponsible international loans, and inflating the hell out of the economy...

The Fed has the real power btw... not the ppl u elect to office

Ego. No 30 something WOMAN is going to tell ME what's what! The media did not pick up the story of Greenspan finally saying, "I was wrong". Why, then they'd have to give credit to Naomi for breaking the story, and no way are those pay check collecting pancake makeup covered frat/sorority brats going to do that.

No, she did nail him and he dodged the question by not responding to her allegations that the increase of No-bid kick-backed contracts during his run at the Fed was obvious cronyism.

Are you FOR crony capitalism?

What she wants is transperancy and a seperation of Corporation and Goverment, which is impossible without competition for Gov. contracts and oversight for our money.

What specific question he he dodge? I agree that the FED encourages and protects the elite corporate world, but that doesn't mean that she is right either. Her premise is wrong. There IS cronyism. She doesn't understand that Government must contract to get anything done and produced.

She IS the problem, because she supports big Government, which in turn would produce MORE cronyism.

Alan Greenspan must have taken something away from this, because after he retired, almost exactly a year after this, he told Congress, "I was wrong". Yeah, that's right. It dawned on him that maybe when he steps into an elevator that he doesn't want to rely on the self interest of all parties who made and installed the screws holding it together. Why, he must be some kinda jeenyus or somethin'!
