im learning to play this right now and im only about half this fast

@Romanokeydokeys It's not about speed. I know I played it fast here, but I probably should have slowed it down a little. Work on the phrasing, timing, tone, style, everything in fact, first. (I know I can't really talk here though, as I haven't exactly followed that advice myself, but hey... )

Seldom heard done so well ... and you let the tune play ... not so much spotlighting the fiddle technique as letting the song breathe.

So recharge your battery and do it over again. I am retired after 30 years in a symphony orchestra and have a gig in January, and you are right, changing genres isn't easy. I want to do it justice, and you are the best I've found. I am not too old to learn.
