I can see how this much older form of music has influenced other styles as well. I can even hear "bluegrass" in it. Cool stuff.

hey Tuvans are turkic speaking mongol ethnic group. my ancestors,Subotai and Zelme were mongol-urianhan.. Calling them Tuvans is just stupid! We call them urianhan as one subgroup.

for those who don't know, the "pig squeal" is a modern type of overtone singing found in heavy metal music and is in many ways a decedent of the Tuvan style, though much harsher to hear.
