My father along with many other deaf people worked in the print shops of old as the noise would drive hearing people crazy.

How quick the papers were to let go of the layout production staff when computers came on that scene in the 1970's.

What's fascinating to me is how reluctant they are to accept that the information that people want to consume no longer needs to be printed on paper.

Reorganizing staff comes easily but retooling not so much.

Flip Mino. Sound is crap but the visuals are pretty good, considering the equipment is 4" x 2".

If I might trouble you with a technical question? The video quality is pretty good. What camcorder did you use for this segment? Thanks. Cheers.

I think the real question is this: should we be expending all of our effort trying to get newspapers to change, or should we just build the new journalism ourselves?
