Ray Krone

Ray Krone was on death row in Arizona State Prison for two years (and eight years in prison) before he was freed after DNA tests proved his innocence in 2002.

Mr. Krone became the 100th death row inmate to be proven innocent in the United States of America since 1973. Mr. Krone was twice convicted for a murder he did not commit.

i dont think the millions of dollars he got was enough, they should have sent the entire prosecution team to prison for 10 years and see how they like it. and this is only 1 case. imagine all the innocent people in prison right now who didnt get lucky like thsi guy

Ray's experience here should be a lesson to all how a flawed system can bring innocent people to a death sentence. Just think it could happen to you. Truth does not always prevail. The government officials know it. They just dont care. They have a career to maintain at all costs....even death. A 1st year ASU law student told me he switched his major. God bless the defense attorney who helped this man! Besides abolishing the death penalty, every other facet of the system of "justice" in the U.S. needs to reviewed and revised...what this man says public defense in this country is absolutely correct. Reform, reform, reform!!!!!!!!

Y'all know Berry Beach's experience?  He was coerced into false confession. Another interesting statistic is that 25% of those released from prison because DNA evidence proved their innocence CONFESSED to the crime.

He didn't get any compensation for this. In Arizona there isn't a law that says you have to compensate for locking up innocent offenders. He sued the Arizona police and received some money which helped pay for his lawyers. The Guy got fucked by system

i agree . its nice to hear from someone who actully pays attention to whats going on in this world. i think law enforcment needs to be completely redesigned! and all cops lawyers and judges need to be required to pass a self control test instead of just beating people up all the time and acting like control freaks and thinking their shit dont stink. people need to wake up and see corruption is going on in america!

I just watched this case on investigation discovery and wow all I can say is that yes there are people who do kill but dang they should really look into cases that the guy is sentenced to death can you imagine if this guy was killed? there is something missing in our court system. anyway more on the case people were actually saying this guy did it witnesses and such.
