You've got me. I don't read very well and neither did my friend Clarie, the man who taught me basic leather work. Leather working is about making something from leather because it's the best choice for the job. To work leather you need to be able to cut it, form it and join it. Thats the basics, even an illiterate old aboriginal stockman could see that, and he made some beautiful leather work, all with no patterns cut into it.I'm still waiting for the "how to use knives" part.

Maybe if you could read you would notice the title actually says, "Basic Leather Working : How to Use Knives in Leather Working" The word "Basic" and the content of her video pretty much goes hand in hand with what a Tandy basic beginners leather craft kits supplies. Don't be so arrogant.

The title is "How to Use Knives in Leather Working" where is the round knife, the boot knife, the skiving knife or even the clicking knife? You need to be able to cut leather before you can work it. Scratching away at the surface with this tool is just garish decoration and has nothing to do with how to use leatherworking knives.

    Expert village strikes again.
