NINE INCH NAILS - la mer

First time i heard this was years ago when i was first introduced to NIN and it was looking out upon the sea whilst the sun was setting. It was with my first ever love and i still remember it so well. If i could see her again I would, but never heard after we left it because of distance.
This song means alot to me. (even have the text tattooed on my side from what is under the La Mer page in the CD booklet.)
And when the day arrives...

did he take any inspiration from Debussy's La Mer when writing this song?

Hey at about 1:40 when the drums kick in, do they go into like a version of the riff of Into the Void? Or is that a natural part of La Mer?

listen to the riff and the bassline.. its the exact same as Into The Void.. he did it on purpose.. cuz trent reznor can do that<3

This tour was voted best tour of the year by multiple magazines that year and this came from the "And All That Could Have Been" DVD.. my favorite of all time<3

I've been listening NIN for the first time back in early 2000 when i was 15 years old, my cousin bought the Downward Spiral and we've been listening to it so many times.
Now, many years after, i mean today, i've found this song, its the best NIN song i ever heard and one of the best songs i ever heard...
