no I speak in spanish and italian is closer to spanish than french. I 'm sure

I don't know much Italian but my mother tongue is French and I took Spanish classes in HS. Spanish and French are similar, but they originate from a different branch of Latin. Catalan is the one that looks very much like French. I have never took any Catalan classes but with French & Spanish, I can understand basics sentences

here an example : don't you cry means in spanish "no llores" but in french is "Ne pleure pas" wich is totally differnt
