The way the SeeD field exam is programmed is questionable. Don't worry I did it right. It may not seem like it because I stalled at the end but that is how it's supposed to be done. Now on to real info:

Final Fantasy 8 was my first final fantasy. Back then (the year is 2001) I was probably the ultimate RPG noob. I was scared of RPGs. What I was afraid of was losing track of the story and then forgetting where to go thereby forcing me to restart the game but fortunately that never happened. This is because NPCs tell the player where their next destination is. I discovered this with my experience with "Super Mario RPG" (My first RPG.) Who would've thought "passing the first stage." required that I press "A" next to toad. Yeah that's how I thought back then.

I like Final Fantasy 8 but years later I discovered that it had quirks and such that made it stand out to some degree. Especially with regards to the other final fantasies. Nonetheless I still wish to make these videos.

My position in recording these vids is slighty different than what it was in FF 9. In FF 9 I was just some traveling black mage. Here it's similar except I'm the head of something I made up. Lmao. Gotta give me credit on using my imagination eh?

As before with FF 9, you'll see just the boss vids. I won't use the hp meter here because you will see the hitpoints. I'm going to use scans during the battles from time to time. (Not every other turn mind you.) The same will be said for when I get to FF 7 because the sensor materias work on almost everything except the weapons and sephiroth.

Dialog design for FF 9 wasn't hard at all. (Quina was so fun to do.) Most in part because mostly everyone had a special personality of some kind. However...with final fantasies 7 and 8 things may get kind of iffy. Although everyone is special in some way here i.e. Squall = Antisocial, Zell = tough guy, Selphie = childish innocence, etc. These...people are a little more real than the fairy taleish designs of FF 9. If someone says something that sounds like something "They wouldn't say." I may have hate mail to deal with. I'm going to need to tread lightly to keep the entertainment value of these vids up.

Omega Weapon will be coming too. It will be the last vid. It's going to be the toughest video I'll probably ever make. Here's why: Camstudio can only record for so long (What it's max duration is I don't know it's something under 15 minutes.) and I'm also using my Mp3 player's "Line in" to record audio because the computer I use can't record it's own audio. (This is how I have to record ALL PLAYSTATION VIDEOS.) So what i need to do is keep track of time. Once the first 10 minutes of combat are elapsed I have to pause the encoder and emulator, save the first movie then set up the second movie continuing the battle and then unpause the emulator and the Mp3 player. Yeah bloody murder isn't it? I gotta do three things at once. But I'm still willing to do it. After all it's my favorite "superboss battle"

Things are just going to feel so different now that I won't be able to enjoy those cool battle transitions. The emulator just can't mimic it no matter how I tweak the settings. Such a shame...

i just let squall on yellow HP to fight Ifrit i think i only used 10-20 seconds to kill him with Renzokuken i never used Shiva or Quesacotl

what are the settings for your camstudio thing. every time i try to record my emulator it starts to get stuttery

You're recording too big of an area. Shrink your region and the emulator's window size to about 320 X 240. I know it's tiny but you'll maintain speed.

If you are still experiencing studdering after trying that then it's your graphics card being not being powerful enough to handle the job.

r u useing epsxe ? if u r what video plugin? and i can play this on epsxe but when i go into battle non ot the command options come up or the ATB plz help me!
