Can u guys stop talking about this oudated "cap. vs soc." crap. look on your credit cards, your drivers licence, your cheques, birht certificates ... and all legal documents.. Your name is in CAPITAL LETTER. TAHT'S A CORPORATION. WAKE UP

But isn't that also a part of capitalism? You first have to produce something and then trade it for something else. There has to be the people at the bottom.

I am not advacating Socialism, or any other type of 'ism. I am simply pointing out that the romantism of capitalism is rubbish and dangeroues to real freedom.

In capitalism the resources and workers are exploited. People begin to see their lives as only worth as much as the money they have. Capitalism will only lead to one thing over time and that's Corporatism. Slavery didn't end in the civil war. It still presists as the employee/employer. The employee having to subject himself to working an eight hour job when ever his alarm goes off in order to maintain his living. Capitalism is the perfect wage slave system.

Whenever people say "We need to BE SEEN TO......." be doing something (be ethical, caring about the community etc) it means they need to create an illusion of something that they are not.

LOL! People can't tell what others are thinking, so there's no way we can be affected by each other's thoughts.

Even what people say and do can go by without affecting people at all. Plus, haven't you heard of that famous road which is paved with good intentions? Positive thoughts don't always equal positive results.

No, only actions can affect others, and even then there are exceptions.

Yes, however people do act according to what they think or believe. And many times people act according to what others think. For example, people who are employed by others.

Most of the time people act according to what they think, but sometimes they act against their better judgement. And yes sometimes they act in cooperation with what others think.

But that wasn't your original point. But since you said "yes" it means we've come to an agreement. So we agree for the most part.

What did I say yes to? But yeah, I agree and you agree. That's cool! You got me to think.

You said yes to the fact that only actions can affect others, and even then there are exceptions.

OK, Imagine you are walking down the street. Someone is quietly walking behind you. You cannot hear them, but you sense there is someone behind you. Or someone is staring at you. You feel it. Has this ever happened to you?
