This is from the IKO(2) (now known as WKO shin-kyokushin) organizations 7th world open tournament, in 1999. It was not shown on eurosport until a few YEARS later. No idea why they waited so long to show it.
wen i watch kyokushin i always think to myself shit, they treat each other like punchbags, all offense, little defense, never seen such a contest of brute force. for this reason, i luv it lol i mean other styles ok karate may be based on technique or sidestepping or taekwondo for example is pure tactics, judo is manouvering, but kyokushin simply skips all that stuff, how would i put it... its hardcore :D
