It's unbelievable what this music makes with my heart.
No words can explain this masterpiece.

it depends on what you hear on the melody, here i hear the melancholy in someone's story.

That's exactly what I hear in the songs of Yann Tiersen. To me, most of his songs are like memories of old and sometimes bad times but theres always something happy in them, something thankful, hopeful!

I have a very dumb question, being a musician myself, but this main theme, is it played on a guitar, and if yes, does Yann play that guitar himself?

And furthermore, I watched a video seeing Yann play Valse D'Amelie on his guitar, can't find it anymore, does anyone have?

first of all.. you can play all musical instruments if you know how to use a pc (lol). But thats not yann's style . Yann plays guitar, piano, violin and many many more instruments but as far as i know he merely records himself playing guitar
