Stop comparing, these guys are gods!!What is even more amazing is that Page,Blackmore,Beck,Clapton all grew up near each and took over thw world!!.This will NEVER happen again,we all been very lucky to witness a miracle in the evolution of rock guitar!!!They all extremely different with different focus and goals(sorry but i cant include Clapton in the last part lol!)ENJOY THEM!!
Rainbow was in the mid-70s and The Firm was in the mid-80s, different sound of music... LOL! Also you know what I find funny, no one knows Smoke On The Water, but they know the riff, but not what the song is called, lol!
But I still dig jazz guitarists more than rock guitarists... Lenny Breau, Wes Montgomery, Pat Metheny... Etc... Plus Jimmy Page, since Jimmy was such an influence in my life, I would add them up there... Al Di Meola is hell good too... And classical guitarists! Paco De Lucia!
